My name is Daniel Umeh, and today at Daniels hustle, I will be giving you everything you need to know about making money with Google Adsense on Facebook.

GOOGLE ADSENSE

Google Adsense

Google Adsense is a program that allows/provides its users i.e website publishers in google network of content sites, use words, pictures, videos, in other words, interactive media promotion, that focus on the content of the site and the audience.

And these ads are managed and maintained by Google, they convert in two different ways, which are Per-impression and Per-click. The blog/website content, user’s locations, and some other factors, combined with google’s technology help boost the advertisements.

If you desire to promote your blog/website with google’s targeted advertisement network, just register through Google Ads.

Google Adsense is a well-known program that focuses on launching and position banners and interactive ads on blogs/websites. These interactive ads readjust themselves depending on the size of the user’s device.

The web content most times, relates to the adverts, and these adverts are less interruptive. With Google AdSense, lots of blogs/websites have been able to generate revenue from their content.

Might be through ebooks, online videos, audio notes, etc. This happens because is a well-known advertising system.

Google Adsense over the years, has been very helpful especially for growing blogs/ bloggers with no resources or major source of income. And it has also help blogs/ websites rich in value become more successful and well known.

An example is the Linda Ikeji blog or Bella Naija. These blogs/bloggers are well known for their up-to-date entertainment and fashion gist. They are able to achieve this feat first, the richness of their blog’s content and taking advantage of the Google Adsense, though their other tools used, these two are the major ones.

And to publicize significant content, web designers use a short javascript code on the web pages. Google has cleared out the policy that limits AdSense ads to three ads per page.

It is now possible to have several AdSense ads on a page if the web page has enough content. Based on google’s rules and regulations on the right positioning of ads, advertising material must not be more than the content of the page.

To make the most of AdSense income, requires hard work, in the sense that they make sure they:
• Strictly adhere to the instructions given by their webmasters/web designers
• Make sure there are no many ads on their website/blogs.
• Ensure they create valuable content that the users can easily relate to and interact with, which also gives a great user experience.
• The phrases accepted by google are advertisement and sponsored links. So they don’t support methods that let users click on ads to get more clicks.
• And no links that lead to the web with no reputation.

Ads program remains the origin of all Adsense revenues.

Google has the capacity of connecting ads to site content. But this causes a little stir because most times google misses a lot in posting ads not related to the site content. In most cases, it happens to 70 out 100 while the rest are almost related content not exactly related content.

This mistake happens, because of the automatic total summation of the site’s relevance to the ads and it leads to matching “technical equipment” with “Drone”.

Types of Google Adsense Ads

Types of Google Adsense Ad

Content

The adverts in this sense are focused on users with specific interests/contexts. To target, there is CPC (cost per click) and there’s CPM ( cost per thousand impressions).

What separates one from the other is that with CPC you get your earnings base on clicks while CPM earnings are through per thousand impressions. This is why CPC is more common in the market and the other became an unwanted strategy.

Content ads are in different sizes, which can be a flash video, an image, text, animated image, etc.
Users can also decide to display either text and multimedia or just one of them.

This enables publishers to show adverts similar to the search terms on their site and get more than half of the revenue the ads generated.

The AdSense custom search ads are also displayed together with the results from internal search results via custom search ads.

Only approved publishers have access to custom search ads. Though the shared revenue from AdSense (51%) is low compare to 68% of AdSense for content. This can only yield massive profits through possible clicks through rates.

These are focused on the user’s interest. Because they are able to relate with the ad unit, which might facilitate their interest bin in the ads they see.

Publishers get paid for clicks on the ads that are linked from link unit topics not links on initial topics. And these ads on the linked page are pay-per-click Google ads. Looking like the ones shown in the normal AdSense ads unit.

Video

It allows publishers who have video content (video hosting websites) to earn ad placement from google’s extensive advertising system.

This helps the publisher choose the type of ads he/she wants to display with their video inventory. All formats available include linear video ads (pre-roll or post-roll) Publishers can also display ads that run alongside video content outside the player. AdSense for video is for publishers running video content within a player.

Using Google Adsense on Facebook

Using Google Adsense on Facebook

With Facebook, it’s a different method entirely. Facebook saves people’s information, know a lot about its users, their attitudes, lifestyles, unending social databases,
In such a way that there’s no error in identifying you whenever you logged in.

Facebook takes note of your values, way of life, and attitudes. Because facebook strongly believes personal info/data is an extremely powerful targeting tool than matching ads with sites hoping some online user would like it and click if they visit such sites/blogs.

Well, I think that displaying ads to people is more effective than matching ads with sites.

Facebook has more chances of getting ads income because it also posts ads on other sites like AdSense. With Facebook there are loads of information gathered that restrict and target the right audience.

Facebook records every activity of its users online, knows those who visit sites using the like button, Facebook pixels, and other social media plugins.

And with these tools, it helps Facebook target a specific audience with their ads, and in doing this, they get more results because of its effectiveness. Which is far better than Google Adsense.

For advertisement, Facebook makes available for the publishers unarguably significant tools, that give out the total data available for effective targeting.

And the advertiser can easily set up an ad, focusing on people:
• who in recent times have been searching online for content related to what the advertiser is about to post ads for.
• or people who in recent times have reacted to pages, posts, or updates on such related content.
• or those who specifically signify their interest in such content or related content.

On Facebook, such data are made available for creating ads, for young and old, men or women. All of these additives are available and can also be used on Facebook.

You now imagine using this same social data that Facebook provides for ads on other websites, it’s of great value and it will generate a massive result.

With all of that information, it’s like a new door of possibilities is opened for both the advertiser and online users, because they get to see ads that match their interest which in turn generates massive click rates.

And with the kind of demographic response that Facebook provides for the publishers & advertisers, helps boost the importance of the ads and this drastically reduces the level at which unnecessary ads pop up on some websites.

Using AdSense on Facebook is possible, but the main magic happens on Facebook. Because it’s with such powerful Facebook ad tools that helps the advertisers target the right audience.

Facebook also uses information like the sites you often visit.
Your profile information, the updates/information you like, share and comment on, including your friend’s list and all their information as well.

For example, Facebook monitors your offline activities too and also knows when you get a new gadget, like a smartphone, using that, it will display your ads that relate to smartphones.

Running ads on social and on search are two coins of different sides, Facebook is more concerned about people’s interest, while AdSense focuses on actions, behavior.

Over 63,000 searches are processed by Google every second, around 5.4 billion per day, and over 2 trillion per year. The fact stated above is a huge golden opportunity for any business that knows and can use keywords rightly.

And on the other side (Facebook) welcomes over 1.56 billion users who are always active, and more than 2.38 billion monthly active users. According to this fact, that’s already more than 22% of the world’s population.

The only magic needed here is just to know how to set locate your audience with the right interest.

With google ads getting new customers are assured, but with Facebook clients or customers are the one looking for you. A very smart retargeting can do the magic and generates massive conversion.

To use Google Adsense on your Facebook page to make more income with AdSense ads is not illegal, in fact, it’s one strategy so effective and good way for steady cash out from your Facebook audience.

Using this strategy helps in getting more massive leads, a great increase in page views, clicks, and impressions.

And one sweet thing about this is that AdSense does not get a ban on Facebook, except in cases where the Facebook pages are with no content.

Combining these two forces together to generate massive revenue is really a big deal.
And yet no investment is needed for this purpose, it is absolute zero.

I’m sure by now you understand already that both platforms have tremendous reach and very large users and amidst these large users lies your potential customers.

Now let’s talk about how you can connect both together to get your desire result.

iFrame tool is what facebook developers use to build apps that run in JavaScript, CSS, HTML.
And this makes it possible to be able to post your AdSense code on your Facebook page.

For the AdSense ads to display on that Facebook page, you must input the JavaScript code snippet into a new iFrame Facebook app.

When you’re done with the setup, you start advertising through google’s third-party ad platform, reaching the large user database on Facebook.
